A Tribute to the Memory of Rachel Pugh
13 February 1906 ~ 4 December 2000

Whereas; Rachel Doe Pugh spent eighty of her ninety-four years involved in the life of the Jones Farm, and,
Whereas; she dedicated her later life to the New Hampshire Farm Museum as our House Hostess and, as such, provided a precious living link to the history of the Jones Farm and its people, and,
Whereas; she embodied the virtues of generosity and persistence to her family and friends, and, 
Whereas; she delighted in relating tales of life on the farm to all visitors, but particularly to the children, 
The Trustees of the New Hampshire Farm Museum hereby resolve: 

• To establish the Rachel Doe Pugh Memorial Endowment as an enduring fund to benefit the children's programming at the Museum, and,

• To actively work to preserve the memory and spirit of our beloved House Hostess.

     Resolved this 17th day of February, 2001
